Christmas...the cute n geeky way :)

Have you ever met someone who is like "Christmas music...bleurgh!!"? That has always been me. Yes I'll appreciate the classics when I hear them but that's as far as it goes for me. However, last year my mind was oh so adorably changed by the amazing Tenth Avenue North. Trust these guys to just melt the ice around my Christmas heart! And in a way that only they can, the fun geeky way-just how I like it!;) It was so good I promised that this year I must share this awesome with my people!!:) You'd have to be dead inside to not just turn into mush after watching this.lol So have fun with this age old Christmas classic that has been altered a little with lots of cuteness and a needed healthy helping of Jesus and have yourselves a very merry Christmas and a great 2013. I've decided to start a "video of the day" piece where I share a video that I feel is worthy of a nod by Koko for one reason or the other.
Featuring tonight is 'forgiven' by Sanctus Real.
Aside from the marriage of all these beautiful instrument arrangements, the phenominal vocal talents of Sanctus Real's Matt Hammitt and the needless to say great way in which the lyrics and the stories in the video fit just right, this song is special to me for one more important reason. It got me through some particularly dark days a while back. Everything seemed bleak and forlon but along came this song and suddenly hope was rekindled.  Being that it did as much for me, I want to put it out there so that it can possibly do the same for somebody else who might need that same ray of hope that shone bright for me when all other lights went out.
